Rob started his career as a digital design engineer at Harris Corporation, where he worked on graphics processing chips for the Comanche helicopter. After Harris, Rob taught in the business school at the University of Louisville, then moved on to a business development position for a wireless software startup. Rob ran the popular business blog Businesspundit.com for 5 years, before selling it in early 2008. Rob has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.B.A., both from the University of Kentucky.

Vik is the co-founder of a number of high-tech companies such as Backupify, a leading backup provider for cloud-based data , GlowTouch Technologies, a two-time Inc. 500 software and services company with 800+ employees, and Scalable Ventures, a technology startup investment firm.
He is presently serving as the Executive Vice President of Venture Development for Nucleus - Kentucky's Life Science and Innovation Center, where he is leading a number of commercialization initiatives for the University of Louisville Foundation.
From 2001 to 2010, he was a Managing Director of the Enterprise Corp in Louisville, where he managed a portfolio of over 100 client companies and helped them raise $120 million. Prior to the Enterprise Corp, he worked as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at bCatalyst, an early-stage business incubator. He started his career working as a consultant for GE Appliances where he was a founding member of their Internet team.
Vik holds a B.S. degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering (major in Computer Engineering) from Virginia Tech.
Ben Thomas

Ben has over 10 years of experience in information systems, security, and compliance. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and served as IT Audit Manager for a $1.5B public company managing Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA compliance. He serves on the board of the Kentuckiana ISACA chapter, and is a charter member of ISSA Kentuckiana. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Louisville and a MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London. In his spare time, he is the founder of Louisville Geek Dinner and enjoys travel and photography.
Matt Conway

Matthew Conway VP of Engineering

Matthew has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering field. He was previously the Vice President of Engineering at Mobicious, a mobile internet startup, where he ran the engineering team and was instrumental in defining the company's cloud architecture. Before joining Mobicious, he was a Senior Engineer/Architect at TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel community, where he defined major components of the core architecture, implemented new product features, and ensured 24x7 site availability. Matthew was also previously a Senior Engineer at i2 Technologies, a leader in supply chain management software, where he was involved with defining the core infrastructure for integrating all of i2's products. Matthew holds a S.B. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Daniel Stevenson

Daniel has over 15 years of experience in helping companies take their solutions to market successfully through channels and partnerships. Most recently he was Director of Worldwide Partner Marketing for Iron Mountain, which he joined after their acquisition of LiveVault Corporation, a pioneer in the cloud storage market. Prior to LiveVault, Daniel was responsible for partnerships and product management for THINQ Learning Systems. Daniel was also responsible for channel partnerships at eRoom (later acquired by Documentum) and for partner marketing at SQA (acquired by Rational Software after their successful IPO). Ralph Folz is WordStream's CEO. Ralph joined WordStream's board in August 2009 and was elected the company's CEO by the Board of Directors in August 2010. As chief executive officer, Ralph is responsible for developing WordStream's product and business direction as well as playing a key role in business development and overseeing the company's day-to-day operations.
Ralph J. Folz previously served as Global Chief Operating Officer of Isobar, part of London-based Aegis PLC and one of the largest digital marketing agencies in the world with over 3,500 people in 40 different countries.
Folz also co-founded Boston-based Molecular, Inc., a digital marketing consulting firm that designs and builds Internet-based solutions to help companies increase revenues and decrease operating costs. In May 2005, Molecular was acquired by Isobar.
Folz was responsible for building Molecular into one of the most respected digital marketing consulting firms in the United States. Molecular is consistently ranked as a top U.S. firm by Forrester Research.
Folz has been named “one of the 10 most influential leaders in e-commerce” by the Massachusetts Electronic Commerce Association, and Molecular was recognized by Deloitte & Touche as the highest-ranking Internet professional services firm in the New England region. Richard Levandov

Richard W. Levandov has more than 20 years of senior executive and principal investing experience in a variety of technology companies. Prior to joining Masthead, he was a private investor and consultant to venture stage technology companies. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Levandov was a partner with SOFTBANK Technology Ventures. While at SOFTBANK, he led investments in several companies, including Personalogic (acquired by AOL) and Art Technology Group (ARTG). From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Levandov served as Vice President of Business Development at America Online. From 1983 to 1993, Mr. Levandov was a co-founder and Vice President of Phoenix Technologies, Ltd., a personal computer systems software company that went public in 1988. He was lead investor and served on the boards of Valent Software Corporation (acquired by Lycos), Sombasa Media (acquired by PrimeMedia), Software.com (acquired by OpenWave), Mobilee (acquired by Natural MicroSystems), Bright Mail (acquired by Symantec) and OLiVER (acquired by LivePicture).

David Orfao

David Orfao

As a Managing Director and Co-Founder of General Catalyst Partners, David invests in both new and existing technology businesses. His areas of special interest include application software; infrastructure software; open source; IP TV services; as well as software on-demand business models.
Before co-founding General Catalyst, David most recently led Allaire Corporation from 1997 to 2000 as President, CEO and Board Member. During his tenure, Allaire grew from a venture-backed start up to a $119M public corporation trading on the NASDAQ. The company pioneered the internet Application Server market with industry leading products such as ColdFusion and JRUN. In January of 2001, Allaire merged with MacroMedia Corporation and continues to be a leading Internet software company.
Prior to his CEO role at Allaire, David held the positions of Senior VP of Sales Operations and Marketing at Frame Technology Corporation, Claris Corporation and SQA Corporation. Frame Technology and SQA Corporation were venture-backed corporations that successfully completed Initial Public Offerings on the NASDAQ.
